Abstract While much academic effort has been devoted to exploring various aspects of right-wing extremist lone-actor terrorism, little attention establishing how the terrorists create meaning by locating themselves within a larger narration history. This article tries fill this gap, analysing conceptions history and historical narratives evoked in manifestos that perpetrators uploaded online relation terrorist attacks Norway on July 22, 2011 Christchurch, New Zealand March 15, 2019. Employing combination discourse narrative analysis, argues shared fascist ‘regime historicity’ may be identified manifestos. Furthermore, it places found different virtual communities.
